In our classroom, children can chose from a variety of activities set up at centers around the room. They can build with blocks, put together puzzles or create with play dough. There’s always something interesting to do at the sensory table. It may be filled with colored water one week and flax seed the next! Our classroom is also where we serve snack and have lunch with our friends.

Our science table changes regularly. We learn what sort of objects magnets pick up. We look at seashells under magnifying glasses and practice sorting items by color, shape or size.
Our play area also includes easels, an art shelf, a library, and a quiet spot. There are small group activities like building a marble maze or playing with a doll house. We also have available to the children a writing center fully stocked with pens, papers, stamps and stickers.
The dramatic play area is where kids play dress up and make believe. The theme varies depending on what the children are interested in and what Teacher Julie is reading about at story time. It might be a restaurant or a fire station. You might find yourself in The Three Bears House or an Underwater Kingdom. Here children can immerse themselves in the wonderful world of make believe!
Our Playground
Children love our playground! They play in the sand box, ride trikes, blow bubbles and enjoy being together rain or shine.

We have lots of fun! Some of our favorite things to do are birthday celebrations and field trips. One of our most favorite field trips is our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We get to ride on a tractor, see how vegetables are grown and visit the goats!
